Game not working

Game not working.. When i open launcher...click on play now.. game runs.. when i try to connect to any server..game closes.. and yes i allowed it in windows firewall... any help?
windows 7.. already played this game a lot on a machine with same configuration...installed today again on new machine..and it happened

Have you updated your system ?

Try to restore your system  to a date when it was working.

The hard drive is what needs to be restored to a past date.

it was working on my old laptop.. this one is another laptop but with same hardware and software

I guess the problem is that i copied game files from old laptop to new one..didnt download and install again.. maybe?

I dont understand the part of your new laptop have same hardware and software but you cant just copy the files and got it working ( lol only Xenalite knows the black magic to do it ...).

I suggest you to get sure you uninstall previous installation or copied files, strongly reccomended clean your registry with Ccleaner to be sure you are making a clean installation.

If you have some kind of trouble, best way to show us what is happening is to open your game on windowed mode an take a screenshot of error message you have when game CTD

because i didnt install the game..there was no bf2 file in regedit.. so i used https://www.regfiles.net/registry/battlefield-2-registry this link,,made one.. now when i try to connect to server..game dont close, instead i get a message saying invalid cd-key( a ray of hope)

ah finally..used x9392 in front of cd key in regedit..it worked..see u guys in game

pd: the trick of x9392 in front of key is working for any key at the moment, but if im not wrong the near new anticheat system with revi-key which battlelog plans to use soon ( or that is what they say ) hehehe you will be asking here again.

yeah make it clean it all by un install  after that..make it sure that ill all clean all the files and download it again..after that 1.4  and 1.5..are the next..
try bf2 hub???that was so easy,sometime i felt like that ..i could not enter the game..after a hour i would be play it..
