COD4 1.8 PATCH OUT AND RUNNING.

WE SHOULD CHECK IT OUT.. 1.8 PATCH
Leetmod brings many new features and fixes upon COD4 patch 1.7. Everything that was wrong, unbalanced or missing was improved. Also brings bots to the game
Features:
50 configuration files with more than 750 configurable variables
Better hit detection
Dynamic rotation and following gameplay rules
Anti-camping
Spawn protection
Fixed Bugs in weapons and gameplay
Extended Player Statistics
Server Players Statistics Viewer
Final Statistics
Final Killcam
New Killcams
New Game Types
New Maps directly accessible from the menu
Bots (powered by Pezbot)
Create classes during the game and increased slots to 9!
Editable Default classes
Third Person feature
Selection of soldier type
Keyboard menu selection
Admin Control Panel (in-game control of maps, players, rules)
AFK to spectator, AFK-Spectactor kick
65 Rank levels with Prestige
Notification sounds
Binoculars and snipers with range finder and zoom
Day/Night dynamic cycle system for all maps
More Health Systems, with medic roles, bleeding, injuries and bandages
New graphical options for better performance, visual options (HUD) and controls

i play on 1.8 patch and they certain fixed alot. the commando in knifing has short so knifing is extremely harder . u have to be accurate and very close

Some features are really nice.

I agree.

The anti-camping feature might makes half of the players rage though lol, but if it changes the way some play I'm all for it :D

Some of the things sound good indeed. But the problem is this is a mod and not a patch if I got it right. We should try to find out something more about it.

not negative. I understand what u mean. Just norma did enough for NRNS lol. U can download the mod and test it anywhere

Just to let you know, we are working on having a dynamic rotation depending on the player amount in the server without a mod. This is the most interesting point of the above mentioned mod in my opinion.

If we can get it running soon, it might be a big step hopefully!

If I may bring a suggestion on the rotation, we tried the dynamic rotation when things started to go wrong after several IP changes which basically killed servers, about 2 years ago. It had mixed results. To change the rythm why not reducing the time per maps (TDM/Sabotage/domination/Free for all) and/or reducing the amount of rounds needed to win (Snd) ? People who dont like a specific game mod would be more encline to stay/play if its shorter rather than quiting.
