Why did I get banned?

I was playing on one of the NRNS MW3 servers when suddenly it kicked me from the game and said server disconnected. I tried to rejoin but then it said I was permanatly banned and then it showed an IP Address what happend what did I do??

I really like playing on these servers got a M.O.A.B once and am really upset now that I can't. Can someone please help me!!
