unreal seriously common I realy think this is being taken out of line I live in same country as you guys even worse im in Gauteng and I don't take any of these words so seriously its A GAME NOT A MOVEMENT struggle and it seem you 2 don't like our rules or the way we play which is sad cause you are from same country I am

I f you going too sit and look for every guy doing something wrong like your post last week about camping or raping man you will not enjoy this game stop accussing nrns of everything as its players that do this and not us as a community .................

I played cod 4 with you guys couple of times did you hear me crying about how everybody is hoping or stabing or camping
we come here too laugh and have fun and you should too in bf 2 we do all kinds of stupid things cant mention it in here as we re friends and respect each other and don't take it personal when I get teabag or so on but it sad too see you complain about everything we do and how we play when all we did is welcome you and ask you too join us on vent so please join vent then we talk about it

I did not complain about the rape term because somebody on here was using it.
I've been wanting to make a post about it for a long time. I mentioned it here because it is a term used everywhere in gaming, EVERYWHERE.
I know that on any other servers forum, I'll get shot down about it even more than I was shot down about it here.
I was not targeting NRNS saying 'you guys do this, you guys do that!'
I thought that on NRNS of all places, I might actually find somebody who agrees with me. Otherwise I would have left it.

I'm being seriously misunderstood here.
It is a stupid term. Putting spawn or base in front of it doesn't make it any better.
I get everybody's argument about context. I just don't agree.

Oh and I didn't make the post about camping. I gave my opinion because somebody else brought it up. I never mention anything about it in-game, because I too like to have fun. Although you guys probably don't believe that about me now.

I am sad that my post came across as an attack on NRNS. It was meant to be a discussion about a term in gaming as a whole, not an attack on you guys.

Dit gan darem nie altyd so nie, jy bang ons mar op n slegte tyd, my camping post het ek gemaak want ekt gevoel dit was nodig, ek het al baie saam campers gespeel mar hulle camp usually mar net so tydjie en beweeg aan. Die keer was dit net bietjie rof. So post sal mense maar sleg omkrap ek weet, mar dan het ek darem gese wat ek wou en almal het gepraat en kan aanbeweeg.

Moose se post verstaan ek dat mense dink dis beitjie te critical, maar dit gaan maar net oor die woord en nie oor enige iemand wat dit gebruik nie, van ons was maar al geraak deur dit harder as ander en dan offend dit nog erger.

What you are feeling is a form of disrespect toward you when you hear it or see it in chat.

I agree it should not be used in chat or in Ventrilo.

We are based on respect towards one and other and you are correct it should not be used.

It is good to know that somebody else also sees it for what it is.

I mean, I've been gaming for some years myself and I've always hated the term being used in gaming, even though I'm well aware of the context.
So even though I posted the thread after something mentioned on these forums, I'm not referring exclusively to NRNS at all.
Like I've said, I see it used a lot more on other servers.

But you are right, there are other expressions that do just as well. Wouldn't it be great if derogatory language could one day be totally eradicated from gamer culture

fing hell. what aload of bullshit. on this website. before you all jump on the comment i just made think about everything im saying.

this is a place to forget real life issues regardless of where your from. I do not post all the shit happening where i am as that is not what this community is about. its about gaming. there is no way you as a player can have a perfect gaming round of any game with out one of the words typed been offensive to someone. that is a fact.

Im sorry that shit like that happens where you are really i am but i didnt come to nrns website to read about it as ignorance is bliss. what i dont know cant bother me. another fact.  the fact that i now know changes nothing as all the things you said are still happening. so what is the point??? this is a gaming website that has no power over real life issues. some will say im cold in what i am saying but i can only deal with facts.

most words have multi meanings this is the way of the world which all use. so next time you want to post something from real life ask yourself if your doing it to.
