Well I'm not anyone official with killingfloor but I do play it from time to time so maybe I can put a few pointers that might help others get connected.

This is what I do to connect to NRNS servers (the below steps are for the version posted on the old forum, idk if the steam version will work or not):

  • Start game.
  • Click 'Multiplayer' from the main menu.
  • Click the 'Favorites' button on the top bar.Right click any empty space in the server list and choose the 'add to favorites' option from the drop down list.
  • Enter the NRNS server's IP:port (46.105.121.57:7707)
  • Click ok.
  • Find the new entry in your favorites list called 'NRNS-Games.com EU 1'
  • Double click on this and play.
(After you do this once the server will stay in your favorites list)

After you connect it's all about choosing your kit, killing zombies, collecting money, and finding the shop location before the next wave.[/font]
I am very open to suggestion. If you see an error or room for improvement or just have a comment or query please get in touch with me via forum PM, email, or Discord.

How long does it usually take to connect to the server? I tried connecting, but it showed me the loading screen forever, so I cancelled it. Also everytime there's a new map, I have to download it and despite a good connection speed, it takes a long time.

look for AutoUpDate Killing Floor in desktop or KF-UpDater_SUNRISE in installation directory > it will download all the updates it need > Play it!

I did use the auto updater. Still have to download.  but never mind that. The problem is that the connection to the server fails

for all them who have the game on steam copy all files to a new folder which is in a new location (not in steam folder)

you then need to use the revloader to launch the game.  https://yadi.sk/d/TTzXDuKNFkGWD extract this file in to your new game folder and run the kf launcher. then connect by ip and add to favs.

happy killing :)

I do want to add that our server is PRIVATE as in you could get the game from anywhere wink wink.

Does the auto updater download all the maps as well? If not can I separately download all the maps and place them in a folder or something. For some reason I am having to download a map everytime there's a new one.

Ok turns out I am being forced to download core maps because of a version mismatch. I have KF v1059 while the server is v1058. And everytime the server changes map my download gets interrupted. Any way to downgrade? Or alternatively any way to upgrade exactly to 1058 from a lower version, cause the auto updater upgraded it to 1059 automatically.
