£41 to revive the BF2 city maps server

Who wants to play on the city maps server again? We have to find 41GBP ≈ 47EUR ≈ 53USD as DR-EVIL said.
I am ready to pay 10Euro/month. Maybe a little more if the server won't be empty all the time

For guys who already paid: didn't you make donations for all nrns servers?
I mean if we just take that money to pay for the city maps server, wouldn't it be bad for all other servers?

We should only pay for servers that are being used,we have players on bf2 bot server everyday.

I only play bf2 so I do not know how used the other games servers are,but I am sure that there is a way to see that info so we can decide what serves the clan the best.

Remember that we purchase server boxes (on which we can host many game servers). I don't know if the $41 server for BF2 would be different but on the US box we're currently hosting (at least) the BF2 bot server and 2 CoD 4 servers (https://www.gametracker.com/search/?query=us.server.nrns-games.com). It wont cost us any more or less to remove those games from the server box or add others (up to what the server box can handle).

Anyone remember when we hosted BF2 on the US Box? We had the #1, 2, and 5 or something BF2 servers for 1.0. That was several years ago so the neighborhood might have changed but it might not be a bad thing to try BF2 on the US Box again. It also might be a way to test the waters, see what the interest is in BF2 and give some time to prove that we can handle the added cost, before purchasing another server box.

This is a great idea except that all players in Europe will have a ping around 100-150ms. I am not sure it's playable.
Anyway, for testing purposes it might be fine. Is it possible to host one more server on the US Box?

All the players in Europe played on our US server because it offered the best quality and challenging play.  The ping is not that big a deal in Bf2 like other games

I play from Brazil. My ping was +/- 210 with european servers and now 170.

 In EU servers my ping was at least 260...  ofc is playable. It is hard yeah, but possible... in general, i always play in EU server, so, i think the idea about US server is really good.
