These two players were playing on COD4 with me last night and I got them on ventrilo but there wasn't any vent admins present. So I stayed with them in the guest room to play with them since they couldn't change channels lol. If you see them in game and you know of a vent admin on vent that can help them, please let them know to come on vent so they can be helped. Just fyi. Thanks!

But the auto updater upgrades to v1059 while the server is v1058. This forces me to download maps I already have. I wouldn't mind that but the download speed is so slow that when the map changes it interrupts my download and so I cannot connect to the server at all.

Any way around this?

this is why I haven't updated yet.... I have 1055 atm.

Do you mean you can't get to the site or do you want to say that you downloaded from that link but then the game doesn't work? Cause the link works for me as in I can go there and download the game.

I meant the link didn't work for me but i found another link and got the game there and still it's slow to connect. like very slow I'll be 90 before I spawn - slow.

I got the game "somewhereeeeeeeeeee" and that got it up and running...however I still can't join our server!!!

after 30 seconds it only says 1.3% out of 100% to join....

*hits head against the wall*

I got mine from steam. but apparently I can't join our server because the connection is so slow if I go through Steam? at least that's what I understood DR's post to be.... he posted instructions to move the game folder out of the steam folder, then download a file to bypass steam and launch the game. so i did that, and now the game doesn't work at all.

now the launcher won't even launch it gives me an error.
