i have a pc now but dont know where to find you guys playing so help an old guy out with some links and instructions and i cant get the disscord to work either lol same old movin huh

Hi Movin. Welcome back. We haven't any european server anymore. We have a BF2 server in the USA where people play against a swarm of bots. This was done due to the lack of BF2 players and consequently the lack of funding for the servers. I noticed these last weeks the number of old players coming back is increasing as well as the number of new players.
You'll need to download a special mod to play it: https://www.fileplanet.com/archive/p-417/Battlefield-2-Singleplayer64-Mod-for-BF2-EF-AF
You'll have to get an account at bf2hub.com if you haven't any yet.

Unfortunately we are reduced to playing on one server, moreover against bots, not between people!
It's not fun, but I hope that with your return, we can restart also to have some fun!

P.S. I can't help you because I keep always the old configuration, since my game runs even without any new mod added, and I 'don't remember nothing of that stuff!

what aside from bot bf2 is there i have been told i can run anything upto bf1 on low res

These might still be running (the server tracker isn't working so it's difficult to tell for sure what's running): Conan Exiles, MW2, MW3, Project Reality, Wurm. The BF2 bot server is the only thing I know for sure is running because it needs frequent restarts.

I think BF3 servers are all down. I can't see any of them in the browser.
