Sounds like a thermal problem. Have tried to clean your fans from dust? Your power supply seems to be good enough for your video card, so i dont think it causes the power supply to crash.

Maybe you should try to change the cooling system of your computer ,i had that problem too my pc sometimes would stop working and sometimes i had  blue screens that seriously isnot good and definitely related to heat/cool problem, i putted a little bit fan than the last 1 and ive never experienced that problem , and well i had to spent like 300$ more for the cooling system otherwise my graphic card would caught fire!

It happened to me also. I had a problem with cooling my power supply so. I had a resistance on a fan which is cooling my power supply because it was too noisy and i had worse hardware then now so didn't need more power in there. When i upgraded my PC, the power supply started to overheat so i had to disable the resistance. So it means that you should check temperature of your hardware firstly and then try to look at the power supply
