New messages in chat

I noticed at least 2 messages I had never seen before. Something like killed by cannon 303 and another one I can't remember at the moment  but it was an unknown weapon too.  There were human players in game  but none with such names. Is it an expected behavior?

This topic is 1 year, 5 months, 16 days old, so I really doubt he still has screenshots of that inquiry, if any anyway well, in my experience I've seen fake clients be featured in kill assist messages or sometimes fake clients killing sombody with artillery.

Kind of hilarious when it happens cause you're like, what the f*ck? ahah So, yeah, I think weird stuff can happen in chat. Actually BF2 has like 15 type of chats in the game (different channels seen by different people / for different use), so I reckon sometimes things can go a bit out of the tracks.
