How to play MW#2 with IW4 React_Launcher

It looks like a nice guide but it is missing a key part: The game files.

Step #2 is "...Copy your Modern Warfare 2 game files ..." but we haven't yet been told where to get those.

the game files can be downloaded from the updater it self ,but if u already have the base game files from another game version
u can update them instead of downloading the whole game again . thats all buddy

Thanks. So just stick the updater into an empty folder. Run the updater. Come back in a few hours and you have MW2 ready to go?

I believe you can do it that way (haven't actually tried it myself), but if not the way I did it was just downloading the actual game itself

It works mates.
1. Stick the updater in an empty folder
2. Open the updater ,wait a second then the updater will
give u three options
3. Hit the number (1) up which means (install game)
and wait for it to download
Thats all tho and if u wanted to pause the downloading up to rest your pc or to do anythin (exit the updater ,do ur stuff, then when u want to resume it just open the updater again but use the command (3) that repairs your game and download the missing files.

coz they didnt link that u can download the game from the updater
