I asked DR-EVIL about this idea a couple days ago, but he hasn't answered me yet. Does anyone know if it is possible to host one more server on the US box?

Anyone remember when we hosted BF2 on the US Box? We had the #1, 2, and 5 or something BF2 servers for 1.0. That was several years ago so the neighborhood might have changed but it might not be a bad thing to try BF2 on the US Box again. It also might be a way to test the waters, see what the interest is in BF2 and give some time to prove that we can handle the added cost, before purchasing another server box.
This is a great idea except that all players in Europe will have a ping around 100-150ms. I am not sure it's playable. Anyway, for testing purposes it might be fine. Is it possible to host one more server on the US Box?

For guys who already paid: didn't you make donations for all nrns servers?
I mean if we just take that money to pay for the city maps server, wouldn't it be bad for all other servers?

Who wants to play on the city maps server again? We have to find 41GBP ≈ 47EUR ≈ 53USD as DR-EVIL said.
I am ready to pay 10Euro/month. Maybe a little more if the server won't be empty all the time

I think we should try to revive the EU City maps server if people want it and are ready to donate. I am.
But I don't think I am ready to pay for an expensive server box with BF3, BF4 on it.
I mean if we could rent a cheap server for BF2 only then it will be possible to actually find the money.
Are you guys alright with the BOT server or it will be better to play on the city maps server again?
Bot server could be a lobby for the city maps or something, where people start to play and then go to the city maps.

Hello guys!
Sorry for my english.
I am not an active community member. I just enjoyed playing on City maps server. And it was the best BF2 gaming experience ever which I can't find anywhere else now.
Maybe it's just me but I find the bot server kind of boring.
Anyway, I would like to know, how much does it cost to keep one EU City maps server up and running and are you ready to maintain it if we find the money?

Thank you for your reply.
In my defence I want to say that I killed only spawned players who already moved and were able to attack me. It's impossible to spawnkill from my position. I was defending TV station, the only flag we had. I can't advance to another point if enemy is massively assaulting. I had no intention to do spawnkill. Sorry for that.

I have no idea, what i was banned for. I can't find banlist. Actually, i don't see any proof as well. Maybe I killed admin few times and then I was banned. It is only one good exploration. I never use hacks or something...even tweaks.
Please, give exploration and keep me banned, if you think it's fair.
