Could you tell me the hardware that's in your pc, and the amount of Watt your power supply can deliver? It sounds like the problem I had when my old PSU couldn't deliver a stable enough voltage to my GPU, making it freeze. (dennis as well )

sniperwolf, look here and see how often the i3-41 30 beats even the FX-8350 Single threaded performance is very important in games. The fact that a 3ghz, 2Core/4Thread i3 beats out a 4,5ghz 4Module/8Thread FX CPU proves this. The only time you should take an FX-6300 is if an i3 doesn't fit your budget, but there's only a $10 price difference between that CPU and the i3-4160 so I don't see that happening.

so if you still havent build this yet , check out the amd fx 6300 its about same price as intel it features 6 cores , a 3.5 ghz stock speed , turbo to 4.0 , it is unlocked , overclocks well and it performs just a bit less than intel in single core performance . but you wont notice
Single core performance is VERY important in games! You'll have to overclock the fx6300 to 4,5ghz to get about the same performance in games as you get from the i3.

Avast tells me teknomw3.exe is infected and instantly deletes it. On the tekno forums everyone (including forum mods) says it's a false flag and I believe them. I just turn off the shields, start tekno and turn them on again and I haven't had any issues since I started doing that 2 days ago. I'm pretty sure it's safe.

Ok just to clear things up. Unless your intel CPU has a K behind the name, you WON'T be able to overclock it enough to make ANY difference. Going with a Z type board would be overkill.
I wouldn't recommend spending more than 2/3rd of what you spent on your CPU for your motherboard. Whatever fits within that budget will do just fine (as long as it's socket 1150)
OH! and CoD Ghosts will REFUSE to run if you have less than 6GB of RAM (I wouldn't recommend playing this game at all btw), and I highly doubt watch_dogs will run on a GTS450. And last but not least, the MINIMUM requirement for AC:Unity is a GTX680/770!

On my laptop I have a right-click option where I can choose what GPU to use (integrated (HD4600) or High performance (GTX860M)), and in the nVidia driver I can choose both globally and per application which GPU to use.
Doesn't the AMD driver have something like this as well? (also, AMD drivers recently got a huge update, check if you have it)

"I admit that I hacked, wallhack only." Even having hacks installed on your PC makes you a pathetic little excuse for a human being. If you expect to need hacks, then maybe gaming is just not for you. Perhaps you can play boardgames or do sports or something ^.^

i'll explain what happened: someone told me this guy was hacking, right after that i heard someone spam a barrett, and I saw 4 headshots by him in the killfeed. I jumped to the conclusion that he was aimbotting, but afterwards I looked in the demo and saw that I was wrong.
Please unban this guy

I have the server execution failed error sometimes as well, even when vent is not on. I'm on win7 so I guess it's a bug in WMP. google the error, you'll probably find an answer

Oh and when a Dutch person asks if you want some coffee/tea, and you do the 'humble polite decline' thing, you WILL NOT get your drink. You declined, so we won't bother you by asking a second time.

Hey Ftrss, I get called a hacker all the time (I even get banned from servers pretty often) Whenever someone calls me a hacker, I just see it as a compliment. What he's really saying is "I can't believe how good you are!"
If you look at it that way, it becomes really amusing to watch them get angry ^.^ I'll send them hearts ( <3 ) and watch them ragequit

what's the rated wattage of that old PSU? it sounds like what i had when my psu turned out to be to weakMB is a ASUS x58 Sabertooth which is new, processor is a new i7 x58 is not new at all! This is for the FIRST generation of 'core i' CPU's; Nehalem. It came out in 2008, SIX years ago! The current generation is Haswell, which is the FOURTH generation. (and uses an x8- or x9- series chipset)
