A United Airlines flight was cancelled. A single agent was rebooking a long line of inconvenienced travellers when an irate passenger forced his way to the front and slapped his ticket on the desk. "I HAVE to be on this flight and it has to be FIRST CLASS". "I'm sorry sir. I'll be happy to try to help you but I have these folks to help first. I'm sure we will be able to work something out." The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly so that the passengers behind could hear: "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?" Without hesitation the agent smiled and grabbed the public address microphone: "May I have your attention pleae. There is a gentleman here at gate 14 who does not know who he is. If anyone can help him to find his identity, please come to gate 14." The passengers behind him are laughing hysterically. The man glared at the agent, gritted his teeth and bellowed: "F*** YOU" Without flinching she smiled and said: "I'm sorry sir but you will have to get in line for that too."
Life is not about how to survive a storm but how to dance in the rain.

Dual BF2 Install Guide
NOTE: On 64bit Operating systems, you will probably have to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2 instead of the ones mentioned here.
Part 1:
#1 Install version 1.0.
#2 Copy the folder C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\(where you installed Battlefield 2, this is the default location), not the contents but the entire Battlefield 2 folder to anywhere you want.
#3 The most important part, Hit windows key+r and type regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2 and right click on the Battlefield 2 folder and click export, save the .reg file and name it BF2 v1.0, place it on desktop.
#4 Create a shortcut and point it to the bf2.exe in the folder you copied earlier, name it BF2 v1.0
Part 2:
#5 Now patch BF2 (the one you have in the original folder) to v1.41,Then install v1.5 patch then do the same thing you did before by going into registry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2. and again export the whole Battlefield 2 folder by right clicking on it and selecting export. save the reg file to your desktop and name it BF2 v1.5.
#6 Now if you have done everything correct, you should now have 2 Battlefield shortcuts(maybe 3 if you have the "Play Battlefield 2 Online Now" one, but that one is useless and can be deleted), the one created by the original game, which is 1.5(you can rename it to BF2 v1.5 to make it easier to remember), and the BF2 v1.0 that you made in part 1. You will also have 2 .reg files, "BF2 v1.0.reg" and "BF2 v1.5.reg".
done.
---------------------------------
--> When you want to play Battlefield version 1.0, you simply double click on the BF2 v1.0.reg and merge it into the registry, then doubleclick the BF2 v1.0 shortcut to start the game.
--> When you want to play Battlefield version 1.5, you simply double click on the BF2 v1.5.reg and merge it into the registry, then doubleclick the BF2 v1.5 shortcut to start the game.
PS. When you doubleclick on the .reg files, 1 or 2 warning boxes will most likely pop up, just press OK/Accept on both and you are good to go. Also, reason for the reg files is because if you don't you will get the cd key in use message and wont be able to join a server.
Still problems with the reg files? Then try this:
Step 1:
Go in .reg file of BF2 1 and open it with notepad. Add "Version=1" to the file, that will help registry to find right version. See Picture 1.

Step 2:
Go to shorcut properties and find Target and Start in. This must be in the folder of BF2 1, not patched one, because it must be run from default folder not from the copyed one. Just look at Target and Start in, they must be run from same location/path! See Picture 2.

Thx for Reading, hope its Helpful.
sorry i dont have the images anymore.
open above spoiler for the dual setup details.... then install the http://www.battlelog.co/ launcher to v1.5 folder then you run the http://www.battlelog.co/ launcher from 1.5 and log in to it. once you are logged in you then launch the bf2 v1.0 .exe (do not click run bf2 icon in the launcher) when your at the login screen for bf2 within the game use your http://www.battlelog.co/ account details. if you need a disk to run bf2 v1.0 you can get it from www.gamecopyworld.com id advise to get the image and mount it with deamon tools which you can also get from there instead of the nodvd .exe fix as this crashes alot. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the other way is replace your .exe with this http://96.254.179.222:60000/files/BF21.0Reviver.zip then at login screen use the battlelog.co login details. this way only works for v1.0 thanx to ghostcall here is a video to help you.
