hey guys
i have this strange problem , my pc is not connecting to internet through LAN . i thought my cable is damaged but its alright cuz on my laptop it worked , my pc was wokring fine like 5 days ago ,it was off for like 4days and now i cant connect to internet but wifi is working fine . any idea about the problem? ( ieven updated my network drivers) .
Thanks

"It's not connecting" is a bit generic. Maybe poke around in your network connections (Network and Sharing Center on Windows 7) a bit and tell us what you see?
-
Well it says network cable not plugged or broken but it's alright it's working fine with other PC
-
Like check with the network drivers ali,
Go to system properties on my computer
Device Manager
Network adapters
see if you got ( ! ) then try to download your onbord drivers again it comes with your PC when you build :)
-
Blue the drivers seems to be alright but idk i still cant connect
-
check your cable if is connects if you move it a bit or something like that :) could be also just been damage or wrongly connected :) depends of the inside :)

gl fixing it
-
Microsoft did an update a few days ago that broke some NIC cards, I was able to fix a few just by going to device manager, deleting the Ethernet adapter and let windows detect it again.
Also make sure in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections that your ethernet card is not disabled.
-
Tony whenever I delete them , should I have to restart my computer right after that? Or just leave it for a few minutes?

It worked for few minutes but then lmao again it stopped I took it to the nearest shop and they said its probably burned by the amount of current passed through the circuit! ( freakin lightning I hate you ) .
If anyone saw a pci network adaptor on Amazon etc please let me know
I can't find it anywhere
