You may have been noticing some players with the name CID_ and a number following in the CoD4 servers lately. This does not mean they are hacking automatically even though it looks suspicious.

The server will give you this name after connecting without a name chosen by yourself via multiplayer options.

This can be caused by using some tools but does not inevitably proof it, check those players manually.
