Title: Lost password for BF2 game name
Post by: [NRNS]SHADOW on May 03, 2015, 08:41:02 AM: Was wondering if there is any way of retrieving a lost password to my game account. Wanted to join BF2 yesterday but when I selected my user in the list the password text box was blank instead of all the ****************** which are normally there, so I was unable to join.

Is it still the EA password that is tied to the in game account name or is it possible to change the password somehow? I tried to get the password by contacting EA but they are of course no longer supporting the game so I quickly found myself in a dead end.

Any suggestions? Can I change the password for my gaming account through Battlelog or do I have to create new account?

Post by: [NRNS]MOVIN on May 03, 2015, 13:57:11 PM: things are different now shadow mate you need to patch to 1.5 and have an account at www.battlelog.co and download the bf2hub to join come on vent and someone will be able to help you out mate we will get you in game

Post by: [NRNS]SHADOW on May 03, 2015, 20:42:53 PM: Thanks. I was setup with 1.5, and it was working lovely until I by accident deleted the content in the password field yesterday.... Unable to fill in the information again. I have followed Ghostcalls instruction videos but still get an Incorrect password message after the Launcher has started BF2 and I select my online account...

I even asked Battlelog for a new PW which I got in the an e-mail. I then inserted that PW in 1. my gaming profile (the notepad file), 2. in the launcher and finally 3. in the password textbox when selecting my online account just before the server list is displayed. Still I get an incorrect password message.

Bf2Hub and Battlelog are 2 different things

Doing what is advised by following the above link solved the issue so now I am able to join the game again :)
