Title: BF2 down loads

is there an easy way to get BF2, other than that confusing one you guys have?

old computer died before my son could transfer all my files.

What's confusing about it? I always thought the method in our install guide was very easy (single file, single step (essentially install and play)). :|

In any case, the guide lists a second method with a link to alternative download/install methods.

I must have misunderstood. thought it was a download, then mess with to set it up and other stuff.

The revive install steps can be distilled to:

• Install: Get the installer. Run it. Make sure you input your key or let the installer give you a random one.
• Update: Let the installer update punkbuster.

If you want to play online you'll need a launcher (because native online support was removed a while back). We use BF2Hub. BF2Hub's install steps can be distilled to:

• Install: Get the installer. Run it.
• Patch: Use BF2Hub client to patch your BF2 install.

Game is ready to play online on BF2Hub enabled servers. Use your BF2Hub account to login.
