Why does my game not starting ?

delete all bf2 folders , ALLS
empty the trash and restarts
reinstall bf2 1.0 and after patch 1.41 and  1.5
restart when finish
create account in bf2 hub , working all the time  lol
restart again
for hub
and welcome back in game

first delete everything that is related to bf2 from your PC
now u have the original 1.0 Battlefield?...
install it if u do....download the 1.41 pathch and 1.5 patch....

this is not a problem with the your grafic resolution (the game starts and crash down if the grafic is not supported...black screen and crash)
in this case i thnk the game is missing some files when u install it  and that why it wont start...

ok so I uninstalled everything related to BF2 revive then I installed the original BF2 DVD with version 1.0

then installed 1.41
then installed 1.50

I opened the game and it worked till login screen.

Then I downloaded BF2 Revive small file (which can be used if you have an existing game)

I logged into my account and it asks me to update binary files. I update and then AGAIN it asks me to update, I update again and again not happens. It doesn't give me the option to play the game.

PL:US what da hell is BF2 Hub doing ? I installed that stupid thing what it does it retrieving account and patching the game, but where is the button to start the game ? So I tried starting the game as the video said (rey santos shared) it still tried to connect EA server and it failed.. pfff I am sick of this failures all the time.

Was this ever resolved? Two major things to check that are most likely causing the problem....


1. CD-KEY, delete game and profile folder in my documents. Then download this client https://battlelog.co/downloads.php# client and install...

2. Biggest issue... video drivers have your tried start the game in another resolution??? Or refresh rate??? You can adjust these setting in the video.con file in your profile folder.

To help you further i need more details such as what happens when it crashes, do you get past the splash sceen, does the screen blink on startup, is smoke coming out of your computer?

Tried cd key change
Tried regedit
Tried dx update
Tried resolution change in con files
Tried installing it to a different computer and even revmajistix and lalibaba connected to my pc through teamviewer, problem continues.

You know what ? I am giving up. I won't play this game for a while. It messed up my all mood and enthusiasm to play the game
