Hi guys first time post
Would like to ask questions on ping
Me and a friend play most day for the past 2 year and love the server. Sometimes we dont understand how fast a player can be? like they are shooting us as they come around a corner
Is that ping or cheat? Me and my friend both have around 140 ping and last days get killed fast by people like shintendo and other low ping palyers are they cheating or does ping help them?

Low ping does help a bit but I've found that expectation trumps ping (ie, if you walk around a corner to see if there is someone there to shoot you will always be at a disadvantage to the player who walks around the corner expecting to find someone to shoot at). Experience, UAV, and commander spoting can help a player have higher expectations of finding an enemy around a corner. That said, there are also hacks that make up for that lack of experience/expectation. You can spectate (press 'c' when dead to cycle through players) someone you suspect of hacking and make a video and/or report their actions to an admin via Teamspeak (http://nrns-games.com/index.php?page=guide_teamspeak) or the Report a Cheater (http://nrns-games.com/index.php?board=11.0) forum.
How admins catch hackers is a big mystery and should stay that way. If admins' methods were published it might help hackers. Asking how they do it is asking them to reveal that secret and (best case) may result in quality shitposting. Man-nist@ gave you exactly what you asked for there. ;D

Depends on many factors.
UAV, it makes it seem like a cheat, but as players get to know the game, UAV is almost like godmode.
Also, having less than 50 ping makes your hit register a lot better.

Seriously??? I don't think so... with my astonishing connection of 250 i can hit everybody without using my all bubble bullets hahaha (sarcasm :o :o :o).. i hate it hahaha

That means you have 250 ping, but its a very stable connection. (no jittering effect)
