http://tech4gamers.com/gigabyte-releases-ga-h81m-gaming-3-motherboard/

1) No need for over clocking ,no extra ports,M2 etc
2) just need 4th gen processor n NVIDIA gts 450 support (i will upgrade soon ) ,8gb ddr3 ram

FOR ONLY 1 YEAR OF GAMING

all the stuff in pt2(above) is covered by H81 M

oh my bad i got into the argue about the 13 overclocking i didnt even advice about mobo lol silly me ,

well H81 or B85 this motherboards will support some new features in some way or another such as native display port, new integrated graphics but there are some core differences between the H81 and B85 variants in much the same way as there were differences between the old H61 and B75 chipsets.

if you have the money go for the B85, has more expansion ports that the H81, but if you want a cheaper motherboard the H81 is your choice, both work in the same way.

like he said , also note that the on board graphics on the i3 are decent but wont take you too far , between gigabyte and asus from exp i pick the gigabyte , they are durable they feature japanese capasitors and have and it has a nice 6 +2 power desing , you wont need to worry about getting enough voltage on your system or over voltage. Asus is a really good board too but they are better making high end gaming mobos lol,

Ok just to clear things up. Unless your intel CPU has a K behind the name, you WON'T be able to overclock it enough to make ANY difference. Going with a Z type board would be overkill.

I wouldn't recommend spending more than 2/3rd of what you spent on your CPU for your motherboard. Whatever fits within that budget will do just fine (as long as it's socket 1150)

OH! and CoD Ghosts will REFUSE to run if you have less than 6GB of RAM (I wouldn't recommend playing this game at all btw), and I highly doubt watch_dogs will run on a GTS450.
And last but not least, the MINIMUM requirement for AC:Unity is a GTX680/770!

+1 ^keep this in mind aswell

thank you THAN .....YH H81 & n B85 r in my budget n so is H 97 mobos ..... i read B85 ARE business mobos n H81 /87/97 R consumer (may be it wud nt make a diff)

so as comparing em i guess H87/97 IS MY FINAL OPTION.

thank you SNIPER W

yes its giga byte mostly

n thnx again v much

thnx for de heads up

yeah half of my gaming dreams r shattered with my current GTS 450 (as i got the answers from all tech forums) ..... NXT UPGRADE soon ..

ram >> was gonna go for 4gb for now  ::) ::)

In my opinion, spend 90€ for a gaming mobo its right, why?, because the way to have a good pc its to have it useful for a looong time, with the GA-Z97-HD3, first he can use the i3 processor, he can overclock the I3 4160 to 4.0Ghz easily without temp problems and stable, he can improve at any time to i5 and i7, and alot more. If he is planning to dont spend much for the moment, stay in Socket 1150 is the best chance. Be the way, AMD FX Series FX-6300 needs a mobo AMD3+. My opinions are based on actual games and the future. Lets wait an answer.

EDIT: He is asking for a mobo option, not processor, (Maybe he want to improve the mobo for any time he can invest in a better Intel processor.)

u r completely right bro....... n i will upgrade in around 6 months once 1 finish my CA final N mba entrance (specifying this 2 point out de reason why i cant spend much now)

till then something is better than nothing .

so H97 M D3H >>   :-\ :-\ :-\

AMD >> i dnt know will study the pros durin my nxt upgrade till then a INTEL guy

First of all for an i3 , dont pick a z97 motherboard , they are made for overclocking the i5 series they are compatible but its overkill unless you want to pay for a gaming branded mobo for a low end cpu like the i3 on intel side , second Farcry 4 needs at least a 4 core processor , the i3 is a dual core with hyper threating but doesnt work on it as far as i know , tried on the pentium and i3 game didnt load up , now what to keep in mind is an i3 wont need an expensive motherboard to run in , its a low power cpu wont produce alot of heat so any mobo can do the trick , if you havent build this yet , i recomend you an amd fx 6300 , cost less than the i3 has 6 physical cores and will run you throu anything

THNX MAN

yeah THTS Y i AM thinking of H97 M D3H/ H87MD3H ..... SOME TOLD me even H81 s /B85 are good but that wud b 2 basic ....

i3 >> m counting on its hyper threading stuff as i read on intel n other tech forums  @least in some games.

so M CLOSING DOWN TO >>> H97 M D3H   :-\  :-\  :-\

have you tried flipkart mate? they have good option there mate. Only if you are looking socket 1150 motherboard.

YEAH flipkart ,amazon(in),snapdeal, but m gettin almost same deals from de shops here (lamington road, anupam etc )

How much do you want to spend for the PC? I can give you some build :)

mobo budget around 100$
processor max i can go for i3 4160  :( :( :(
and ddr 3 ram > 50$

AS OF NOW

Hi Krrish, here is my opinion, if you are going to use Socket 1150, depends on how much you want to spend, and for what use.

A nice mobo with intermediate economy, in my opinion would be the GA-Z97-HD3.
http://es.gigabyte.com/products/page/mb/ga-z97-hd3rev_10/overview/

Totally compatible with your actual CPU with posibilities to go i7.
http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Gigabyte/GA-Z97-HD3(rev._1.0).html

In some cases, there are mobos with dual memory, you can use DDR2 and DDR3 at the same time, but this is not the case. I recomend you the G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB CL7. You can overclock it to 1866/2133 really easily with UEFI Bios.

And if you want some nice improvement with the SO, try the SSD disk system. For example the Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB. Reaaally fast, huge performance.

All this on Spain you can get it for 200€, and you can make a PC for another 10 years. Hope this can help you.

hey ty so much

but for now i can go as far as H97 M D3H OR H97 variants ..... m a chartered accountant (almost) .....so had 2 GOOGLE "overclocking" @ 1st ...but i got it 2 some extent ...

the major diff (z97 & h97) is OC only i guess ..

i am getting GIGABYTE GA-H97M-D3H @           110$ (amazon.in)
                        GIGABYTE         Z97X-GAMING3 @ 250$
                        Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H @               165$

and my MOBO budget is around 100$

i will certainly look for ripjaws  :D

omg TY all 1st of all.... m gonna go 1 by 1 !!
