Hey so here the pb :
Tonight i was playing sniper with Ice and Dennis on EU1. Can't get a kill. Only hitmakers, seriously.
Dennis told me it was an algorythm problem if we play others mods ( i play Promod sniper mario tdm, only sniper soft mod... and others)
But it never took me in bad stuffs like this.
I play against Thaek, Crzy, and Benny just now again, and i had to touch 2 or 3 times the guy to kill him EVERYTIME !
I recently typed a command in console : /ui_drawCrosshair 1
(I just dwled again CS 1.6, and seeing the crosshair gave me a desire to try to put it back on COD4, so i put it back !
And since this, my game has a pb with sniper, can't get a kill, only tags.
Any help pls ? SAVE ME !! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Rom are you sure that you have stopping power perk with your snipe? :P :P :P

Are you using the regular scope or the acog one? And which perks do you use?

seems like lag compensation problem for me. How's your connection ? Try changing packetdup , helped me some time ago ( but it's cause my connection drinks )

actually it ussually depends on your connection and ping. Worse connection=loosing packets hence you have to send more to server. If you are not loosing any packets keeping it to 0 is fine, if you are then 1,2,3,4 depending on how bad it is. Have to check your lagometer to see for yourself if you are losing packets or not ( red means you are lol )
Also what's your maxpackets settings?

Im using Sniper class with M403 and R700 as secondary weapon. Steady aim ect...
Normal scope M403 and ACOG on R700.
The pb is i can't find my config file. It seems i've 2 key, and i only can find the config of player "twinsnake13" my old name.
Not Rom's CFG file.... So i guess i can't tell u ahah ( U know how much I'm noob about config Lisek)

ingame ( w/e name lol ) open console and type /cl_maxpackets it will show you your settings ;)

You are using overkill which means there's no stopping power.
btw. who uses 2 sniper rifles in 1 class lol

Yeah but here i can't clearly kill someone without 2 shots lmao, or 3 ! And this for like 1h
My connect is good I think, no lags to report aha

AS lisek says you are using overkill no stopping power. ;D
And without stoping power you need 2 normal 3 noobe or 1 prety good aimed shot to head or neck so thats the point.
I think whatever config you will have without Stopiing power the basic quick scoping is usless.
