when i click on "btf2.exe" Nothing happens the game dont start. i tchek Viewing Task Manager shows nothing about btf2, however the game does not load. Does anyone know what is causing this problem or how I can fix it?
ps : i'm using win 8.1 , 6gb ram , 4 gb graphi

i tchanged all my computer , i was playing it last time on a paintum 4 , xp , 1gb ram ,1 gb graphi

Can you run other games? Do you have your graphics drivers installed? How did you install BF2 (from what site did you get the installer)? Check for error logs and the Windows event viewer for additional info.

Force dx 9 install , download the full offline installer. Dont download the online installer (file size of the online installer is about 1mb)
Uninstall windows 8, and install windows 10.
Windows 8/8.1 is just pure garbage.

let me know when do you last played? do you have same version what we played like v 1.4 and 1.5 have you install punkbuster 3 and the last what type of hub does you used battlelog @ bf2 or bf2 hub? let me know. about the windows there's nothing problem you can played what ever windows you want except ,if you did not installed the right game card or graphics card what you been use.. :-* :-* :-* :-* please response immediately before i went to Jupiter A.S.A.P..
