Hi gents
Quick question to you all.
How do you like the maps we have been trailing this weekend please? Songhua Stalemate & Great Wall.
We would like to know feedback so we can make a decision to leave them in the maplist or not :)

Finally! Yes! :D

About damn time Songhua is being added!
I love that map and it would be like a breeze of fresh air.

Also, Great Wall is a no for me. Sniper heaven and gaymore gangbangs.
We already had this on the rotation and it was 100% salt.

now that great wall is 16 size game play changed to better if u ask me....snipers don`t have that much time to get to camping places...

Yes there are.

But...
Does the other maps offer 200 small doors? In which doors are the only way to get across the wall and where a single claymore can be a triple kill?
Does other maps offer more than 5 towers that give the perfect position for snipers? With crenelations?

Guess not.

All im saying, is that great wall would be good, but with the claymores and crap, fighting or crossing the map using the walls is a salty thing to do.

Dont think im hating on the snipers, like i said, they dont give me much problems because i know how to deal with them.

The fact that i see campers near the top 5 with almost same points as flag cappers (usual flag cappers, not the hardcore ones), that yes. That crap makes me tilt and have brain cramps.

BIG yes for both of those maps and yes songhua stalemate is city map too (in my opinnion all maps without jets are kinda city maps) it gave for me atleast so much motivation to play longer for change and the city maps server was full too because of those new maps so big TY for adding them :) Btw players who dont like great wall map should just learn to use snipers or deal with them and try to not get spawn camped because then i believe it is not really fun :(

 Then that when game in great wall map ends alot of faster now is in my opinnion pointless because it doesnt depend on game lenght do you camp flags/spawn with sniper or not :D Camping with sniper will always be problem in every map and it is even worse in maps what those players have been playing longer like peninsula and mashuur city

I already heard some people say that Great Wall is great, but after a few minutes of what I described above, the great map was "I hate this map" .

I dont agree on the Sharqui and Mashtuur City, you have plenty of room to flank and access better positions for dealing with the snipers.
On great wall, once they get up in the towers... Its a tent for them.

Only thing for me personally is I dislike great wall, It just feels a bit boring compared to other maps :)

Also, this is why I dislike the map. As it's a more confined space, not only snipers but in general people can camp rather than for example karkand where they are spread out. It's like mission impossible to get a flag xD

This will give window for squad creation, and players with less powerful computers to finish the loading on time.

It's useless. It was enabled for a while and I never saw anyone kicked but the chat was polluted by some idiots that spent their game pushing the vote button.

Admins used to warn/kick completely inactive commanders but tried to give inexperienced commanders a chance. Communication was always the key (if they're willing to communicate: give them a chance, encourage, give pointers; if not: boot them). I don't know if they still do that but if someone's disrupting the game it should be reported to an admin.

Yeah that happens and is when I used to just start spamming warnings then kick them. Course, then sometimes they'd come back asking why they were kicked. Sometimes people just ignore chat. xD Such folks shouldn't be commander. /shrug

I have no power to warn or smthg , still, im doing generally bad at BF2 so i wont talk too much.

Still, its annoying as hell when even some players can do much better and even being fighting commanders.

I wouldn't mind (would be an welcome change) changing from "City Maps" to "All BF2 Maps", just rework the sniper kit and you're good to go.

I warned some lazy commanders with the admin tool and I'd say around 50% left the position after the 2nd warning. I think they were afraid of being banned.

waiting on Evil to fix the weapon mod it keeps reverting back for some reason, the points system and pr deviations should be removed too soon,  the others are just settings being trailed, the tk stops nade spamming and commander arti and it wont kill you it just injured you so no big deal

I'm just soo used to call it "City Maps" that I do it without thinking.

i would like to see a couple of more maps added but fear if we do the usual people will complain as always about getting owned and bombed or killed by a heli..........

But easy fix on that!

Since we already have an "All Maps Server" with all the vehicles; just add everymap on the rotation and take away the jets and helis, and add a whole lot of buggys/favs.

That should be awesome to play with!

I know its not that simple, and i know we have anther server with vehicles.

But it has every vehicle, jets and choppahs.

I think removing choppahs and jets and adding buggys would make it infantry viable.

What do you think is wrong?

For me:
Rifle power decreased ((ak, l8, g36e) you can reduce the l8, but don't touch the ak or the g36 when they were perfect).
Anti tanks even more armoured (when they are naturally armoured and have a 50bullet gun) , but still getting one shoted by snipers.
Snipers still one shot (yesterday great Wall map, 14 players on each side: 9 fooking snipers on each side).
Some spawnpoins are retarded.
Some flags need a change of place.

I dont know much about hackers or hacking in videogames but is there really that many hackers? I have been playing almost daily since when i came from military in real life before last christmas and im feeling like i see only one guy max in week with some sort of aimbot. If that is true i will feel bad because i must have been fighting against hackers then alot

We are playing at nrns servers and most of people who play are sniping just because snipers do actually realistic damage in nrns servers and it has always been like that. When we talk about battlelog bf2 servers you cant kill a guy with headshot sometimes and it is so annoying but still doesnt stop people from camping and spawnrape there so nerfing snipers will only lose players from nrns servers and it will not even stop the problem what will always be there.You have multiple ways to deal with snipers who camp like just go in tank or use sniper kit by yourself too until you have took off those kids from the roofs or where they are camping. Changing spawn or flag locations wont help because people will always learn new ways to spawnkill you just have to spawn on different location

when the server is full it will auto kick players that are idle for more than 20mins so admins don't need to kick for idle it does it for them

That doesn't change the fact that half of your and the enemy  team is camping.
Getting into a tank won't help you because we have more people playing AT.
It's just annoying when your team is just useless because they care more about their own K/D, than getting flags which will lead to victory.
 
My point being?
Every kit has suffered changes along time, whether power output, accuracy, armour, and so on. Sniper kit was changed only in claymores. My guess, depower the snipers, and make the pistols more powerful.

It's nice to deal with them and all, but when you  want to cap flags and you have almost no one to back you up, it's frustrating to do so.

Tonight 04-27-17 I as MEC on Sharqui Peninsula and stole the US chopper twice but it was extremely instable and almost uncontrollable due to unexpected heavy lateral swing. The MEC chopper was flying OK.

I think the bonus points system is one of the things that made this server so different. Sad to see it go, it was a lot more fun with it. Any chance that it'll be coming back? Why was it gotten rid of, did people not like it or something?
