I would like to ask your opinion what do you guys think for gulf of oman map.
So just make gulf of oman only map with nrns statistics and mods included. Standard vehicles, planes etc. So you can get much easier helicopter and plane ribbons and badges, and those are impossible to get in city maps. And also I loved to play it on demo version.
It was a looong time ago like 7 years ago when I was 10 y old or something :D ... Anyway, there was a cobragaming free server. And It was amazing server to play, much better than full bf2. Although it was a "free" server, there was some rules, for example you cannot attack enemy safe base if u don't have captured all bases etc. I spended thousands of hours in that demo :D It was modded too for bit, but I think it would be even better with nrns mods! I loved to fly planes and dog fights against skilled enemys. And the MEC SU-34 plane was AMAZINGG oooh, I still get goosebumps when I was flying it and dropped bombs at the enemy base and get 5+ kills :DD oo the old good days :'( And almoust every day, no matter what time it is, always almoust on full server.
So what do you think abaut that crazy idea :D ?

I love that map too, but I tend to get bored from playing the same map over and over again. I used to play on some karkand only server long time ago, and right now on city maps I can tell it is much more enjoyable to play the different map in like every 10-15 minutes approx. On the other hand I also played on gulf of oman only map also long time ago and pretty much 90% of people were camping and/or baseraping.

i agree to you guys ,hope admin and council would back again what we started before,we played all maps including this one,we want to see jets and and attack helo at the sky..if any councils see this post think again we ran so long this game and we look some new..

It gonna need whole new server then. it could not be City maps anymore :P
Otherwise i would love to see Kubra dam and songua stalemate on rotation :P

Gulf of Oman is a pretty good Map
But playing the Same Map over and over isn't as enjoyable as you think u'll get board from playing the same thing over and over !

Yeah, good point of views! That would be really nice if we can get modded air map server up :)
And in my opinion, it is enjoyable to play only gulf of oman map :D I never get bored on that map for some reason :o

I don't think so. I know a lot of people who can play this map over and over, again and again and still enjoy the game, because this map is just perfect and legendary.
Love this idea, would be great to have another server with only this map :)

Just play vehicle maps i think :/ sadly people havent found yet how good server it is

modded vehicle map might be easier to populate if the flag capture system was back to normal.
that PR method is not understood by a lot of people,(me for one,lol) and then they leave.

yes .i agree with you too.this is just my idea.
i already said this idea to BF2 admins before.however i respect to their chooses and think they really know better than me about BF2 because they are really experienced in it ( and also in another things like singing or create food and ..... :P ) .
and also still loving you :P

yo tambien creo que se deberia hacer un mapa de oman pero sin aeropuerto y ni uss, salida desde olive hill y a tomar la ciudad, 3 banderas solo, en un mapa bastante cerrado.

We used to have a server for that map,It was crazy there were players with -800 points I do not know why. I just wanted to remind everyone how crazy it was back in 2012.
