New to the server, but not to Wurm. The creature counts, especially of hostiles, are really high. Really high.
Considering a fresh character can barely take on a black wolf alone, if they are paying attention, having so many hostiles spawning in is a bit more than problematic. Especially when they are the higher-end hostiles (hell horses, crocs, trolls, etc are no joke). It makes exploration or settling nearly impossible without a staff member or highly skilled player holding one's hand...annoying.
If it were my call; I would bring the creature count way down, or bring the hostile percentage way down. And there is the alternative of boosting player stats at start...but that ruins the game play for many.

there will be changes just been busy to fix it at this time . there are guard you can call and as soon as you have a Templar you can get them to kill the mob's . remember people get money for upkeep for killing the mob's and with a Hugh map like it is .
The more players the less mob's because no one been killing them there allways going be there unless we did a refresh of the hostiles
