Annoying lags spikes

Hey
I updated my Nvidia's driver to get my screen on the tv with HDMI (anyway)...

And since that, it looks like i've very annoying lags spikes, every minutes.. (Yellow on lagometer)
It's unplayable, can you guys help me ?

The game is COD4

where in lagomter are you getting spikes? If it's bottom half your packets gets dropped / skipped and it's yout net causing that, if so try changing maxpackets and packetdup commands in your cfg file . If it's upper half ( with the blue line ) it's your FPS ( and i guess that's t in this case ) try changing refresh rate of your monitor in game options, could be changing your standard monitor for Tv screen is causing it.

I think its upper half but yellow

might not work though.
Probably be your TV is not compatible and it has to process the signal, audio, refresh rate, scale the resolution  etc. before it displays it. Look for gaming mode in your TV setup and try playing with it

Make sure you are not sending sound thru the HDMI port, certain drivers vs tv sets have a hard time with that.

I desactivated HDMI output. I got a error message when i opened sounds, maybe it was this ? Im testing now

I just updated the driver aha !

Seems to be better, but i still have some green, blue, red, yellow sort of lag.... The hell is this ?

Again lags... Green blue and red ! Yellow is about connection i guess.

in simplest way to put it: if it's upper half it's fps, bottom half is connection
