i still think MTA is a good idea

Is that Multi Theft Auto the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Multiplayer project? GTA:SA had some fun multiplayer back in the day but we're talking 10+ years ago. Older than BF2 if I'm seeing straight. xD

The forum's pretty quiet these days but a lot of members and publics still connect to the Discord server.

I was able to connect just now. Though logging in did seem slow. BF2Hub reported that their servers were experiencing issues. Perhaps that was preventing your login.

I got the server tracker thing setup with our current servers again so hopefully that will help us keep track of if the server is up or down (please do still report if a server is down). I also set up the bot server to use the program that is supposed to restart the servers when they go down (the bot server is the only server we seem to have issues with crashing and staying crashed, it's also the only server that wasn't set up with that program so hopefully this will solve that issue).

I don't believe the donations widget/page/total amount has been updated since we lost the EU server. Dr-Evil said the cost of the US box was covered (see quote and linked topic below). Unless we want to pay for a second server again (probably not a good idea when having funding issues) the only cost we need to cover with donations is the website (Discord servers are free). I'm assuming the website is at most around $20-$25 each month. I do not know where the funds from the current donations go or where the funds came from before to cover the deficit (I assume and I think it was hinted or stated that it came from Dr-Evil's pocket). It would be nice to increase the transparency in this area so that everyone is on the same page and can make more informed decisions.

Our usa server box is covered fully regardless of the total cost by a 3rd party.(see donations its always in there) The only costs this community has is for the website and the eu box. A short fall of about £90 give or take a fiver. Thats $122 dollars on avg based on the current rates.

Yeah then the ranks shown on the individual stats page(s) must be using the wrong values or something. UBAR still seems right so hopefully this is something easy to fix.

Oh, I see. On the individual player page(s) the 'Time To Advancement' category shows the different (wrong?) values.

It looks like the UBAR and the stats leaderboard still use the default/standard values for ranks. The bots with captain on the leaderboard also still show as captain in-game (except rum runner who was missing).
