Fight Men, as you know if you have a higher version of DX, lower versions still work right ? if not lemme know dude cos i dunno how to uninstall DX11 and re-install DX9. plus : http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-1087414.htmlThere are many other players who have the exact same problem, some of them fix the problem by video settings and some (including me) couldn't.

probably u are missing some files that why game wont start...try to find some other installation for bf2.....https://www.battlelog.co
before all that...first try to reinstall the game ..but this time leave the profiles only...delete the rest,even in folder where the game is installed
I'm installing the game with revive file I downloaded (2,6 gb) and no missing files at all. Any other option to make an installation ?

BF2 does not start even though I uninstalled the game and re-installed 3 times, checked event log files (incase of any errors), did that error fixing thing called diesoft and it still does not work. What is the problem ? Check the video please :

I like the maps and rotation we have now.
Sure there are other maps, but i think these doesn't count as city maps or air maps and that is the reason why they are not running there.
If you want to play some other maps beside the preinstalled bf2 maps, you can check out our custom maps server.

Custom maps server is awesome but my ping is never lower than 300. City maps is usually between 80-100 so that's okay.

Well my opinion is that map rotation is good now. And the new Custon server is nice play a while when U get bored playing old karkand every day. Still if some maps should add rotation it suppose be songhua stalemate, that awsome fog map  But yea i like those combinations on every servers what we got.
I am actually not sure about other map names since I havent played this game for 11 years. I am just saying anything new would be good

I am totally new to that game. I never played the game before but saw videos on youtube. It seems interesting but a bit boring while you are drifting around the city. Anyways, is there a way to download game without buying it from the link you mentioned above ?

Hello awesome guys of the awesome NRNS community ! (no flattering !) Is it not possible to add a few non aviation maps to city maps (like china wall..etc). It may be a bit boring while the server is rewinding between a few maps again and again. But of course when I get bored I give a little break then re-connect have a wonderful sunday !
