I haven't bothered to look for any threads related to this topic, but I was wondering if there would ever be support for 64 player servers? I know they are possible and they are also fitting for a host with full 50 player servers the majority of the time. It just makes for more explosive action and less running around aimlessly (for some) without finding anyone (on extremely large maps).
At the expense of bandwidth comes a larger player base, and even possibly not having to refresh for 5 minutes :D

the issue is the lag that comes with it. its the only reason we dont run 64 players on bf3.

Not entirely, our servers can handle it. Its the gameserver/client that can't.

I saw NRNS EU 1 go to 64 player this morning and it was lag free for the most part. I have around 110 ping.

It lagged as sh~~t most of time. I had ping 47.

I don't know what was going on there, what are your computer specs? I can clock up to 3.4 GHz, maybe it's just computer performance..
