that is very strange, I would understand if doesnt detect your neighbours wifi but that has no sense ...

Use your phone as router and check if detects phone´s wifi

Maybe router's using an incompatible wifi type/version/band. Check the wifi requirements for your laptop against what the router's current mode is. Router could also be hidden in the laptop's settings.
I am very open to suggestion. If you see an error or room for improvement or just have a comment or query please get in touch with me via forum PM, email, or Discord.

i think personally it is because router is in living room on the floor and like in the corner doesn't send full straight for your computer else is different with your phone maybe it has newer wifi card or you already connected when you come home and stuff like that. thats why it keeps connnected :)

There are different WiFi's bro....
5 GHz band and 2.4 GHz band

In the 2.4 .GHz you have 802.11 B,G,N
In the 5 GHz you have 802.11 A,G,N,C

Speeds ranging from 1 Mb to 1 GB

Now if your router only does the 5 GHz band and your PC Wifi adapter only does the 2.4 GHz band, they will not see each other.
To be able to help you further I would need model numbers from both Equipements.
