Mine is samsung about   2  3 years old seems no trouble.
For 20 years, I destroyed 5 hard disks.

I'm using a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB for about half a year now and never had any problem.  It is my only hard disc, so Windows, games and programs are running from it and it works fine!

Since its a Kingston, if its a SSD from the first generation its a firmware issue.
This is a general problem that affected many brands such as Kingston, Sandisk, OCZ...

If you have warranty, go for it.

If you need a new SSD, go for a Samsung EVO or Pro. They are the best choice out there.
