The pc i have now has gotten me by for a while which is a xeon server modified to take a video card but not designed to. It has hit its final moments earlier this week right on a 4 day vacation of to leave me bored... The problem i have is the non stop blue screening vga drivers and i doubt its repairable since it started doing it randomly. I am going to keep fiddling with it, But i am ordering the rest of my new pc tomorrow morning THANK GOD!!!!.

Whats your primary use of the build? Gaming?
If so, hyperthreading does almost nothing.
Workstation/gaming, I want to be able to render a video and not wait 3 weeks  .

Try to get an AMD Phenom x6 on eBay ... crazy good and cheap cpu
hmm... phenom is cheaper but it is not hyperthreading. Other wise it would be almost evenly matched with the xeon. Thank you for the idea i appreciate it.

yes , both boxes got attacked at the same time , we are working to fix it
I have a teamspeak you can use temporarily if you need... it used to be for an old command and conquer group but its been empty for a while. They still donate to keep it open even after i suggested closing it.
