General Discussion / Bunch of new awesome games.

Hey people,

I feel like I should propose you some new games (wich maybe you know already) that i discovered, played, and liked a lot.
There are multi-genres games : Poetics games, Shoot games, exploration/narration game, and even """horror""" games (the """ are very important, you'll understand that!)
I) INSURGENCY
A COD4-like, but way more realistic in my opinion. Wich means more hard to play : You don't gain health back by waiting a few seconds.
This is war, this is mess, and you feel it here.
II) PROJECT REALITY
You might know this game, it's a mod of Battlefield. Teamwork is really needed in this game. Servers of 90 players max. You're a soldier (wooowooo) and you can create a squad : wich makes you become a squad leader. Then people enter your squad, and you lead them. Microphone highly recommended.
This game runs with a speak-software called mumble. You can talk via multiples channels (Squad channels, Squad leaders channels) but also talk in "local" wich means you can talk all around you, and players are able to hear you in a 360° space.
So that's awesome !
Devellopers are making the real new game called SQUADS, wich sounds momre better than PR
III) SUPERHOT
So I guess here we begin talking about indies games (I'm in love with indies).
Superhot's concept is to shoot your enemies. Wow, that sounds original.
But real concept is you've control of time. When you don't move, time is getting very slow and long. But when you move, time passes normally. Story is, you're a hacker, and a friend send you infos about a new game : SUPERHOT. You gonna play it, and after a while, your life changes, and some weirds stuffs happens. I don't spoil the story and game, play it if you wanna know !
Very light game, I liked it a lot. Devellopers are fully inspired by MATRIX in my opinion, that I loved really much as a big fan of Matrix !
IV) THE STANLEY PARABLE
I gonna talk about the best (for me) at the end of this topic, so sit confortably and enjoy if you don't know these !
Stanley Parable has been an experience for me, as a real and true psychologic game. This is narration, this is litterature, this is matter to think about your life and others's.
You're employee number 4-2-7, and suddenly, you found out one day, you're jsut alone in your office. So you don't understand and going to walk.
But you know what ? I'm not gonna tell you that much on this game, just gonna post the trailer, and let you make your own opinion about it.
Please BE AWARE \!/ \!/ \!/ this "game" (those are not even games to me, just experiences) are created for mature players.
You're not gonna shoot, move, and others things you could find in a AAA game. But this game is basically an algorythm you can play with. (Stay immobile for hours, turning around, try to open doors 500 times....ect) Maybe you'll find something that nobody found at this day ? Masterpiece to me

V) FIREWATCH
Well I guess a lot of you know this game, cause it was really expected by players. Campo Santo did a great job !
You play a person, who decided to have a job in Wyoming forest. And your job is to then, watch fire. You're building a strange relationship with a woman called Delilah, that you never saw before. Who works in another tower. You're lost in Wyoming nature, and this is absolutly awesome. Obviously things happens, and obviously, i'm not gonna tell you (ehehehe)
Music is really cool also.
What can I say ? A wonderful emotional beautiful game. Also exploration game, so little kids, be advised !
VI) KHOLAT
So here it is. The best of the best, the ICE CREAM. The game I just played 10 mins and I couldn't play more. I have played it with awesome conditions, with 5 friends.
Well, i'm gonna put 2 videos, cause this game is really A GOD MASTERPIECE TO ME. I never experienced something like that.

So yeah, you 'll understand it. This game is based on TRUE story that actually really happened in 1959, in Oural mountain, Russia. This incident is called DYATLOV PASS INCIDENT. The inquiry is still open now in 206 and documents have been declassified some years ago.
Game created with new engine UNREAL ENGINE 4. If you've strong pc, put everything high, and get ready to puke. It's wonderfull.
This is a """horror""" game. It's not gore game, but the atmosphere, ambiance, makes you feel really, really uncomfortable. Music is perfect for this.
Morever, i'd like to notice that the game has an really famous invited : less than Sean Bean as off voice.
I barely played 10mins, and ambiance got too loud and opressing for me, so I stopped, and waited 1 month and a half to play it with my friend (Huge screen, good sono....) We finished the game, and even the end is absolutly stunning....
Again a exploration game, but I think it sounds more "accesible" by the scraing side of the game. There's a lot of reading, but the graphisms are stunning, and subjects talked are way that cool. That's very poetic, dramatic. The game does his job 100% : you feel sad, and obvioysly scared MOUAHAHAHHAA
